League of Legends will not receive too many more changes before the end of the season, but Riot still wanted to take advantage of the fact that there's still time to make one last round of modifications with Patch 11.16.
The one chosen to receive these changes is Sona, received enough alterations to give the champion greater interest and highlight her rhythmic personality.
New jungle details discovered thanks to new Sona changes
However, not all of the modifications Sona has received have been very helpful.
Sometimes, Riot makes decisions that can only be appreciated in certain highly situational moments, and one of these is the fact that Sona's ultimate (Crescendo) now applies to both minions and jungle monsters.
It's a tool that we'll only take advantage of from time to time, but also one that has given us the opportunity to discover something new about the game.
The jungle easter eggs include making both the blue buff golem and the Rift Scuttler dance. These are the product of two little secrets related to other champions:
- Tahm Kench makes the Scuttler dance when he dances near it;
- Popstar and K/DA skins make the blue buff golem dance in reference to their musical characters.
The rest of the jungle camps do not have a programmed dance animation, and are therefore simply stunned by Sona's ult.
Will Riot change these animations? We'll have to wait and see.
