Valorant: Recon Collection skins include highly anticipated butterfly knife

Following a bit of a break, the arrival of Patch 3.04 in Valorant has introduced a new assortment of skins. The Recon Collection, which comes with a military theme, includes one particular skin that has been highly requested by the community - the butterfly knife.

Creating the Recon Collection

According to Riot, in the early stages of development they experimented with a somewhat more traditional design, similar to what we see in other games in the genre.

The new designs of the Recon Collection pay tribute to some of those moments, while satisfying players who would have liked to see weapons look a little more realistic.

In fact, Riot hasn't hidden the fact they took inspiration from the likes of PUBG or Rainbow Six: Siege when designing these skins.

Weapons, release date and Recon Collection levels

The detailed aspects of each weapon have not yet been revealed beyond what you see in the header image.

The Recon Bundle is a premium pack, and as such comes with a price of 7,100 VP. It will be available for purchase from August 24 in the store.

It includes the following weapons:

  • Ghost
  • Spectre
  • Guardian
  • Phantom
  • Balisong (butterfly knife)

In addition, there are four levels to each gun, and two levels for the knife.
