Epic is about to go on holiday. There will be no official tournament from June 24 to July 8, it is probably during this period that the 14-day summer event will take place. The studio had already did the same for Christmas break, during which it offered itself two weeks of holidays but left the players with the 14-day Fortnite event which offered new challenges every day.
Anyway, the last qualifying session for the World Cup ends today and the final is only on July 28. But don't worry, Epic doesn't plan to leave us without any competition for a month and a half. This is why the first official Trio competition will be held in mid-July. July 13 and 14 to be exact. For the moment we don't know the format, nor the cash prize, nor how to qualify. We will have more information when the devs will return from vacation.
