Season 11 of League of Legends is soon to end, with players clamouring for the usual Victorious skin that rewards Gold-ranked players and above.
When you do the math, a large majority of summoners will never see it adorn their accounts. How many, exactly? The numbers could offer some comfort.
League of Legends rewards exclusivity
While reaching Gold rank is easy for some players, the truth is that most Summoners don't reach that rank across the entire season. Almost six in ten players who play ranked will miss out on the Victorious Blitzcrank skin for 2021.
Compared to last year, the numbers have improved by five percentage points. That way, if the season were to end tomorrow, 46% of players -- who are Gold IV or above -- would be eligible for the skin.
This compares to 41% last season, although the situation is way worse in flex queue, as more than 68% of ranked players aren't at the required rank.
The situation is even more weird, because only 10% of worldwide League of Legends accounts actually play ranked games. So, as you can see, very very few players will receive the skin in real numbers terms.
You have until November 15 to reach the threshold of Gold IV and score your reward. You'll get a bunch of other rewards for each rank you hit above Gold, so check out the link below for more information.
