LoL: A buffed Cloud Dragon for Season 12?

LoL: A buffed Cloud Dragon for Season 12?
0

Riot Games recently hinted at big changes coming for League of Legends Season 12. However, it seems that some information has slipped out, with new data concerning the Cloud Dragon.

During the next League of Legends preseason, two new dragons will appear on the Rift: Chemtech and Hextech. Other changes are necessary, of course, such as objective bonuses, new items and balance changes, but Riot still have a lot to reveal.

However, some users have delved into the game data and found some very interesting informaton...

A buff for the Cloud Dragon

While Riot has decided to add new dragons to create even more action on the map, they are not forgetting those which already exist. The Cloud Dragon, considered by many players to be the weakest, should receive a more-than-deserved buff for Season 12.

The Cloud Dragon buff will now grant players +3.5% movement speed out of combat and +3.5% resistance to slowdowns. The Cloud Soul remains unchanged, and still grants 10% movement speed and an additional 30% movement speed after casting your ultimate — on a 30-second cooldown.

League of Legends

Before, the Cloud Dragon buff only granted CDR on your ultimate, which is why it was often considered to be the weakest of all.

When you initiate a teamfight with all ults available, the buff might as well be useless, as there is only a small chance that your ultimate will be online twice in a teamfight.

Besides that, the Infernal Dragon grants raw damage, the Ocean Dragon grants regeneration, and the Mountain Dragon grants resistance.

These changes haven't been clearly communicated by Riot at this time, but as everyone knows, preseason is often very busy. We hope to see this renewed Cloud Dragon in Season 12, and if these changes happen ot will become a bigger target for teams.

LoL: Worlds 2021 winners to get NBA-style championship rings

Glory, a sizeable prize pool, and a commemorative skin -- there is no lack of motivation when it comes to players doing their best at Worlds. However, there's now a new icing on the cake, with Riot Games planning to give the champions extravagant rings like those we see in NBA or NFL.
