Originally revealed ahead of last year's DC Fandome event, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League made an appearance at the Game Awards.
A new gameplay trailer showed the title, which takes place in the same universe as the studio's Arkham series.
It's an action-adventure title that can be played both solo and in co-op, and has a character swapping system that will allow you to play as King Shark, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot and the iconic Harley Quinn. Characters that are not played by a human will be AI-controlled, meaning that you don't always need a full party of four to enjoy all the game has to offer.
Maps will have a high degree of verticality, affording the player greater freedom of movement. Even though the original faces are not available, the characters of the latter do not seem to be put aside, which will undoubtedly allow the protagonists to be appreciated.
The plot revolves around the Suicide Squad battling against the world's superheroes, who have been turned rogue by Braniac.
No release date was communicated, with the title still aiming for a 2022 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
