All the lights are green and the statements from both sides do not really cast doubt. For the fans, the happiness is immense. It's not every day that you repatriate your child prodigy. But among the observers, there are still quite a few who doubt... Is the Swede able to regain his best level after two lackluster seasons and a descent into ERL at Karmine Corp ?
While waiting to find out if the ADC still has good mechanics on the Rift, Rekkles has shown that he still has a really big brain out there. The veteran is surely the most popular and bankable player in Europe. This honorary title did not come by chance but through hard work. He also teased a new project that could make a lot of noise.
The Rekkles brand continues to take shape
Rekkles is already a brand on its own. His image sells and he is perfectly aware of it. If some find that he spends a little too much time taking care of his appearance (tattoo, earrings, hairstyle...), it is also thanks to this that advertising partnerships rain down. Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Nike... The Fnatic icon weighs as much on the field as off it. This kind of initiative guarantees him a future, after his playing career. But in the present it is also very useful. The structures take more and more into account the marketing power of a player during the transfer window, knowing also that a good image makes it possible to obtain a better salary.
The Swede therefore understood everything before the others on League of Legends. With his new project where "he has control", he intends to create a brand in his image, without being dependent on another party. Such a project is ambitious, but above all it reflects the media omnipotence of Rekkles.
A still very mysterious teaser
For the moment, there are still many gray areas. The brand name will be Rekkles , as indicated by the newly created Twitter account (Rekkles.gg). To date there are nearly 6,000 followers, but we imagine that the numbers will climb quickly when the project is fully revealed. The next known deadline is December 3, the expected date of the official launch of the brand.
In the teasing video, we were able to see a sweatshirt or a coat with the inscriptions “ King in the North ”. The references are obvious: Game of Thrones and the Swedish origins of the player.
