The Xbox Cup, a tournament reserved for Xbox players, was held this weekend and saw the top 1,500 players from the semi-final compete in the final for a $1 million cash prize.
Satisfied by this first attempt, Epic announces today that it wants to repeat the experience, but this time on PS4.
These competitions take place after no console player has been able to win a ticket to the World Cup final. Their machines are too limited compared to computers and this despite attempts to overcome this problem.
However, Epic obviously does not intend to ignore a group that constitutes such a large part of its community. These competitions should therefore become a common occurrence.
