Fortnite World Cup: the 2 million viewers reached simultaneously!

The very first Fortnite World Cup was expected in terms of the number of streaming spectators and it is not disappointing because it is no less than 2 million viewers who gather simultaneously on the game, including nearly 1 million viewers on Twitch and Youtube alone!

The numbers are huge but real! In fact, the Fortnite World Cup brings together for the first big day of competition — Duos Finals — no less than 2 million spectators on the different streaming platforms. Slasher unveils the numbers on Twitter and the platforms concerned are Twitch, Youtube, Facebook Live and Mixer.

As Slasher points out, here we count all the streams that are tagged in Fortnite while the World Cup is in progress, i. e. the reruns of the competition are of course concerned, but also all the streamers that cast the competition, and those who are playing at the same time as the tournament.

Twitch: ~ 955,000 viewers
YouTube: ~ 875,000 viewers
Facebook Live: ~ 10,000 viewers
Mixer: ~ 10 000 vierwers

All these numbers may go down or increase as the weekend progresses. Tomorrow, Solo Finals will take place and it could well be followed by a lot of people!

Moreover, Slasher specifies that there would be more viewers on Youtube lives, because Twitch lives suffer quality losses and some bugs causing viewers to switch from one platform to another.
