Mega Mall is a relatively new area. It retains the ordinary Retail Row houses that are very old but it also proudly displays its brand new shopping centre, much more modern, added during Season 9.
The area is about to undergo another change as a rift beacon — the same that has already transformed Neo Tilted into Tilted Town — has just been activated there. As their name suggests, these rift beacons create vulnerabilities and these vulnerabilities have the unfortunate habit to bring the past back into the present time.
Some of the players assume that Retail Row will be back but it is even more likely that a brand new area — anchored even further back in the past — will appear instead.
After all, the Neo Tilted beacon rift did not bring back Tilted Towers, instead it created a new place: Tilted Town. The same thing is probably about to happen at Mega Mall and the main question now is: at what age will the players be brought in?
The appearance of the new zone is planned for v10.10 patch which has just been postponed to an unknown date.
Tilted Town is the new area available in Fortnite that replaces Neo Tilted. Turn into a western character and fight between the stable and the saloon.
