Just a few minutes ago, Indie World took place on Youtube, a stream dedicated to announcing new indie games, focusing on what was coming out on Nintendo Switch.
After a long parade of various games, it was the announcement of Ori and the Blind Forest (in its Definitive Edition) that caught our attention. After Cuphead, it is a new exclusive Microsoft license that is catapulted onto Nintendo's new system, which will further strengthen the ties between the two giants of the video game industry. We will be tempted to assume that the sequel, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, will also be released on Switch, but we will wait for confirmation from both manufacturers beforehand.
Ori and the Blind Forest is developed by Moon Studio and was released in March 2015 on Xbox One, in April 2016 on PC and should be released on Switch on 27 September 2019.
Ori and the Will of the Whisps is expected on February 11, 2020 on Xbox One and PC (for now).
