Gamescom 2019 — Humankind Reveal Trailer

Sega and Amplitude have revealed a new 4X whose principle is reminiscent of Civilization.

Sega had been broadcasting clues for a few days now pointing to a new mystery game. We now know that it is Humankind, a 4X developed by the French studio Amplitude, to which the genre is no stranger since we owe it the excellent Endless Legends and Endless Space among others. Rather than Endless Legends 2, they seem to have preferred to move towards a principle closer to the famous Civilization license, with some twists, even if they are not yet clearly determined. After all, rewriting human history is the norm in Civ, so few gameplay elements have been shown so far, so you'll have to be patient.

Humankind is planned for 2020, probably only on PC.
