At E3, Hideo Kojima revealed the story of Death Stranding, because many people didn't understand what they were going to do in the upcoming title.
At the Tokyo Game Show, Kojima Productions has revealed a 'Briefing Trailer' to better understand the stakes of Sam Porter Bridges' journey through a devastated world.
This trailer shows a single scene, set in the Oval Office of the White House. There are several key characters in the game, including Amelie (Lindsay Wagner), the new President of the United Cities of America, Die-Hardman (Tommie Earl Jenkins). He heads the Bridges organization, whose goal is to "reconnect" a fractured society.
Of course, it also features the protagonist, Sam (Norman Reedus). He has been given given a mission: travel to the West Coast to reconnect isolated people and rebuild civilization.
