Yakuza, who has seen his popularity soar recently, has just announced a new episode for his great saga. Subtitled Like a Dragon, it will put us in the shoes of a new character, Ichiban Kasuga, a member of the low-ranking yakuza. The developers insist heavily on the fact that Like a Dragon will not be just another episode of the franchise but a reinterpretation of it, with a larger city, new places to explore and above all, a totally different gameplay, since it will be played like a JRPG in turn by turn.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be released on January 16, 2020 in Japan on PS4 and should arrive the same year in the West, without further details.
