After being pulled from China because it was no longer monetized, PUBG Mobile was re-released under the name Game for Peace. The game was then granted a license to monetize by the Chinese government and it now includes elements of Chinese military propaganda. This move worked rather well for the title, as it just became the leading battle royale mobile game of the market across iOS and Android devices with a 540% revenue increase since last year.

While this financial boost is partly based on Chinese player spending, the game reached a 152% year-on-year growth worldwide. PUBG Mobile game now celebrates more than 400 million installs.
