Fortnite streamers and pro players competed last night in the latest Code Red tournament. Who won the $12,000 top prize?

Nick “NickEh30” Amyoony’s Code Red tournament gathered no less than 16 duos yesterday. Among them, great names from Fortnite, such as Nate Hill, Aydan Conrad and Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, all competed in a double-elimination bracket for a $20,000 prize pool.

The competition was organised this way: teams that had made the most eliminations in two games moved to the next round. Opposing players couldn't directly cause the death of their opponent, as sabotage wasn't allowed.

Surprising most, Destroy and IMRSharpShooter won the tournament with a total of 17 points in the Grand Final against Ninja and Reverse2k (13 points), meaning that they split the $12,000 grand prize, while the second place team received $5,000.

Ninja rampaged through the tournament, picking up 88 kills in his six games as his duo reached the Grand Final undefeated — including one 39-kill game against Destroy and IMRSharpShooter in the Winners Final.

However, he was upstaged by winner Destroy, who totalled 100 kills in seven games.

A new Code Red Fortnite tournament may well happen before the end of the year. Stay tuned and we'll inform you as soon as we have more information!
