The date hasn't been communicated but the return is imminent — probably via an update in the next few days. This news echoes the announcement of the Winter Royale Duos, which will probably take place December 20-22. The game mode will allow players to train before the tournament during which $5 million is to be won per day of competition.
The Arena mode is highly appreciated by the community, as it allows players to gain HP and resources with each elimination. Farming is also accelerated, concentrating the game more on kills and placement. In Fortnite, the Winter Royale is undoubtedly the most prestigious tournament behind the World Cup. Last year, French player Skite won after a flawless competition.
The great Winter Royale tournament has just been officially announced by Epic Games. It will take place in December and in duo format. The total prize pool of the event is $15 million.
