President Shinra

Current president of the Shinra company, a true ruthless businessman, he does not hesitate to cross the line when necessary. The President does everything to make Shinra's business flourish and has appointed his son, Rufus, as Vice President who has no consideration for his father.

Heidegger

The assistant to the president of the Shinra is obviously present at the casting. His self-confidence and cruelty are reinforced by his imposing build. Angry and violent, he will not hesitate to strike his troops when he fails in his obligations.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Heidegger seems to have lost in beard and stoutness what he gained in stature and charisma. With the exception of his colour coding, his uniform has been completely changed to give him a more military and strict look, reinforcing his character as a tyrant.

Hojo

A true mad scientist in the pay of the Shinra, Professor Hojo turns out to be one of the pillars of the events of Final Fantasy VII. Devoting his life to the Jenova project, he is ready to sacrifice everything to reach the end of his study and more.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

The original model is respected for Professor Hojo, the glasses with tinted lenses that do not let you see his eyes, the scientist's coat, the long hair and the carelessly loose strand of hair on his face. Only the shirt undergoes a color change from white to gray allowing a better distinction with the blouse.

Scarlet

Scarlet works for the Shinra as director of the weapons development department. She is the creator of the famous Sister Ray cannon, highlighted in an emblematic scene in Crisis Core. Scarlet is an authoritarian and cruel woman who keeps a close eye on the study of Materias in order to take advantage of their power to create ever more destructive weapons.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

The visual fidelity is quite impressive on this character, nothing has been forgotten and she has undergone almost no change. The most noticeable difference comes from the color of her earrings which has been changed.

Reeve Tuesti

Reeve works for the Shinra as Midgar's urban development manager. He is the opposite of Scarlet and an exception in the company. Indeed, he is truly concerned about environmental issues and the people of Midgar. Unfortunately, he has very little support from his colleagues.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

In addition to having a slightly more pronounced goatee and a look more in keeping with his personality, Reeve, like the Turks, wears a darker suit with a tone-on-tone tie.

Palmer

We don't know much about this oddball who works for the Shinra as a space research manager and that tea is his sweet sin. Palmer isn't the type to go into direct combat, he'd rather take refuge in safety than take action.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Great loyalty has been brought to Palmer. However, he seems to have benefited from a redesign of his physique, giving him more realistic proportions. His new appearance is very close to the artwork produced by Tetsuya Nomura in 1997.

Roche

Square Enix had announced it, Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be much more than a simple adaptation. The ambitions of the studio go well beyond a simple graphic redesign. The story is rethought, fleshed out in order to deepen all its aspects. In this sense, new characters appear, as in the trailer TGS2019 introducing a young member of the arrogant and self-confident acrobatic biker SOLDAT. Roche is also known as "Speed Demon".

Biggs

As a young, energetic member of AVALANCHE, he remains an essential part of the group, calming spirits during tense moments. Biggs is associated with his two friends Wedge and Jessie. In the end, we know very little about this trio. Luckily for this Remake, it seems that the developers want to explore the story of these three companions much more.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

The details added to his outfit and a more mature face give him the assurance of a down-to-earth leader.

Jessie

The young woman is the bomb expert of the AVALANCHE group. Jessie has difficulty asserting herself because she lacks self-confidence. When Cloud joins them on a first mission, however, she doesn't hide the feelings she develops for him very quickly. This Remake will be an opportunity to find out more about her story, which was previously overlooked.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

In addition to having a more elaborate outfit, character designer Roberto Ferrari said he was inspired by his wife to create Jessie's new face.

Wedge

The latter is certainly the most human element of the group. He is always concerned about the well-being of his companions, even when Cloud joins AVALANCHE with his undisguised indifference to the cause and his sole interest in money.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

He's probably the character we've seen the least since the announcement. The notable differences come from the fact that his belt is now an ammunition belt and that he sometimes wears, like Barret, sunglasses.

Marlene Wallace

Daughter of Barret, she spends most of her time in the 7th Heaven of Tifa. Marlene represents what the eco-terrorist is most dear to the world and it is in her presence that he does not hesitate to reveal his feelings.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Same haircut, same dress color and same yellow bow, the little princess of Barret remains the same. Only her dress has changed, inheriting longer sleeves than before.

Reno

A full-fledged member of the Turks, Reno is very relaxed by nature and behaves in a cynical and condescending manner with both his loved ones and the people he has just met.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Like Cloud, the colour of his outfit has changed from blue to black. His hair is full and runs all over the place, underlining his "mad dog" character.

Rude

Antipode of Reno and yet inseparable from it, Rude is also a member of the Turks. He is the embodiment of professionalism and stoicism, preferring to leave all discussion to his colleague, he proves to be an incredible bare-handed fighter.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Just like his sidekick Reno, his suit changed colour to completely black.

Tseng

Leader of the Turks, Tseng is of a rather cold nature and completely devoted to his duty. He has known Aerith since his childhood and has a deep respect for her.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Same result as for the other Turks in order to remain consistent, the color of his costume became black.

Don Corneo

Residing in Sector Six of Midgar, Don Corneo has all the makings of a mobster. Rich and feared by all, he loves the company of women and doesn't hesitate to let it be known, surrounding himself with the most beautiful women of the Midgar slums.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

His extravagant and over the top side is even more marked by the updating of his clothes. The feathers and patterns on her jacket add even more, especially since the moustache, the shape of the collar (present on the artworks) and the hairs of the original model have not been forgotten.

Chadley

A new character to appear in addition to Roche in this Remake, Chadley is an assistant to Professor Hojo. The 15-year-old is in charge of researching new Materias and analyzing those already discovered. He is located in Sector 7 of Midgar and shares some physical similarities with a certain Denzel.
