Descent of Dragons has finally arrived in Hearthstone and with it the new Invoke mechanic, the new Galakrond hero for E.V.I.L classes and side quests.
As expected, this new expansion transformed the meta and the recent release of Galakrond's Awakening also shook things upside down!
We invite you to come back to an interesting decklist, the Dragon Hunter. Here is the code, the list and the new cards required to play the deck, as well as some gameplay.
For this Hunter deck, we go back to the aggressive side of the force to add Dragons! With a very high winrate at the moment, it takes advantage of the new cards brought by the solo adventure.
Primarily based on the cards from the last expansion, it remains, however, relatively inexpensive in dust. The two legendary ones can be replaced by Big Ol' Whelp, which offers an interesting body, but above all a draw effect that may be missing from the deck. The SnakeTrap can also be replaced by other secrets like Explosive Trap, but will be less interesting in this deck.
The trump card of this deck is the Stormhammer. This is the card that allows the deck to exist while making it extremely dangerous. Its ability not to lose durability as long as you control a Dragon makes it essential, and you'll always have to try to get your hands on it at Mulligan. Ideally, you should also have a dragon in your hand at all times, to activate some of your cards, and also to replace a dragon that has been destroyed by your opponent.
Take the board, and be aggressive, it's your key to victory.
