Hearthstone Descent of Dragons Deck Guide: Embiggen Druid

It is one of the most popular decks at the moment, and for good reason: with two appearances in the Top 8 decks of the Arlington Masters Tour, it is one of the most important decks of the meta.

Descent of Dragons has finally arrived in Hearthstone and with it the new Invoke mechanic, the new Galakrond hero for E.V.I.L classes and side quests.

As expected, this new expansion transformed the meta and the recent release of Galakrond's Awakening also shook things upside down!

Galakrond's Awakening: Boompistol Bully, Winged Guardian

With this deck, you will often know quite quickly, who from you or your opponent will take the upper hand. The deck is simple and effective and is based on its two key cards: Embiggen and Breath of Dreams to win. Never hesitate to throw them (if you have a dragon in your hand for Breath of Dreams), as they will give you a considerable advantage. Lots of aggression, a few annoying taunts, and a nice dragon base is required for this deck. Not many legendary ones, but they are very important additions to this one.

For the mulligan, you will need to be very aggressive. You want your two key cards and almost nothing else. If you have them, Frizz Kindleroost becomes a very important card to have early on, allowing you to counterbalance the negative effect of Embiggen, while keeping its boosts. The side quest, Strength in Numbers, will allow you to take control of the board even faster and can be kept on the mulligan.

The Winged Guardian, added with the solo adventure, is an excellent new feature that will hinder all the opponent's decks, especially aggressive ones. Taunt, Reobrn, interesting stats, while not being the target of spells or hero powers, makes it very difficult to manage.

Finally Ysera, Unleashed will be your go all or a way to finish off your opponent. The seven dream portals she places in your deck will allow you, at the very least, to reverse the course of the game.

Boompistol Bully and Bad Luck Albatross are there to disturb your opponent, and they do it very effectively! Between not being able to play his card with Battlecry because of the Bully, and the pollution of the Albatross deck, which will be devastating against the Highlander decks, and their more than correct stats, you've got plenty to do with these two!
