Sort of the ultimate goal in Animal Crossing games, it's obviously possible to get the golden tools on New Horizons! For each of the tools, you will find below the conditions to be fulfilled to unlock the gold crafting plans.
Please note that golden tools have a very long durability but can still be broken. This is why you will unlock the recipes and not the tools directly.
The golden shovel
Requirement: you must have helped Gulliver 30 times to find its transmitter circuits. You will then unlock the recipe for the Golden Shovel.
Make the gold shovel : to make it you will need the following materials:
- 1 shovel
- 1 gold nugget
The golden axe
Requirement: to obtain the recipe the golden axe, you must have broken an ax 100 times (no matter which one).
Materials needed: 1 ax and 1 gold nugget
The golden fishing rod
Requirement: you must have caught at least once each existing fish in the game.
Materials needed : 1 fishing rod and 1 gold nugget
The golden insect net
Requirement: you must have captured at least once each insect existing in the game.
Materials needed : 1 net and 1 gold nugget
The golden watering can
Requirement: this is probably the most difficult to have, as in previous games. To get it, you need to make your island perfect and get a 5 star reputation. Go talk to Isabelle to see where you stand on your island's reputation.
Materials needed : 1 watering can and 1 gold nugget
The golden slingshot
Requirement: burst X balloons in the sky. The number is still unknown but we suppose that it is necessary to burst a hundred.
Materials needed : 1 slingshot and 1 gold nugget
