The place you have chosen to place your house or the one of a Villager doesn't suit you? Don't panic, you can completely move certain buildings on your island! In this guide, we explain how to move the infrastructure in Animal Crossing: New Horizons!

Have the town hall built

  • You must have upgraded your house at least once and visit 3 mystery islands so that Tom Nook asks you to install 3 houses on your island to welcome new neighbors.
  • You must then have unlocked the Nook's Cranny
  • Once the three neighbors are properly installed, the residents' office will be closed for a whole day to be renovated.
  • The next day, a town hall will be built and Tom Nook will introduce you to the new employee: Isabelle.

Talk to Tom Nook

When you finally have the town hall, you will be able to use the functionalities that allow you to remove and place buildings that involve: your house, the shop, the museum, Able Sisters or the house of a villager. Moving buildings costs a certain price, so you will have to pay directly to Tom Nook for the moving of the building, be careful to have the necessary money with you:

  • Your home: 30,000 bells
  • House of a resident: 50,000 bells
  • The Nook's Cranny: 50,000 bells
  • The museum: 50,000 bells
  • Able Sisters: 50,000 bells

Once the payment is made, you can place where you want the building you have decided to move. It will take a short day to see the work finished!
