When Aerith isn't around, he'll be the one who's in charge of taking one for the team, as well as taking down those airborne enemies. Don't hesitate to give him the Provoke Materia and your best HP Up and MP Up Materia for ultimate survivability!
In Remake, you can upgrade your weapons with Skill Points, (SP). You can assign them separately for each weapon, modifying its attributes as you see fit, or you can choose one of the three automatic upgrade presets.
