This time in Monster Hunter Rise, we are heading for Sandy Plains. For this locale, your eagle eyes will be the key to finding some particularly well-hidden messages.
Rewards
Collecting the ten Old Messages will only get you a few Kamura Points, and some furniture to decorate your room. If you're feeling up to it though, here's our guide!
Old message 1
- All to the west of area 1. By heading to the edge of a rock, you'll be able to find the message that is located near the tree on the ground.
Old message 2
- In a crevice in a rock, near roots to climb, between areas 1 and 2.
Old message 3
- Located in area 1, climb the cliff on the bend. The Old Message is on a ledge near the top.
Old message 4
- In the hills in area 11, you'll find vegetation and a tree that's fallen over. The Old Message is right in the middle of the grass.
Old message 5
- At the end of the rock bridge below area 12 (or above area 11). Cross the bridge to find yourself in a dead-end. The message is there.
Old message 6
- For this one, you need to go to the underground areas and go through the southeast past of area 12. Go forward into the cave and then climb to the place where the light hits a tree. Once you are near the tree, search for a cave, even higher. Use the Wirebug to reach the ledge and get the Old Message.
Old message 7
- Climb up the stone building in the ruins between areas 3 and 7, where the sub-camp is supposed to be.
Old message 8
- To the south of area 4, look for an irregularity in the cliff to know where to climb. A well-hidden cave awaits you further up, with the Old Message.
Old message 9
- Go back to the lowest levels of area 9, in the ruins. Head to the bottom of the ruined building to find the Old Message.
Old message 10
- North of area 12, the message is hidden behind one of the crumbled walls.
