Soulwyrms are a special type of harvestable creature found in the wilds of New World, which players can gather for Soul Motes and Soulwyrm Tongues.
Taking the form of multi-winged, white-and-purple insect, these rare creatures are best found in four clusters.
Here's what you'll need and where the best areas are to find Soulwyrms in New World.
What do you need Soulwyrms for in New World?
Soul Motes are used in a whole load of potions, and the cutting of Opal, Malachite, and Amethyst gemstones. It is also a key resource in crafting the Eternal Heart, a mid-level reagent in ultimately creating Amrine Tuning Orbs, Genesis Cores, and Energy Cores.
The rare item Soulwyrm Tongue is also used in high-level Arcana concoctions.
There's no tool requirements for gathering Soulwyrms, but you'll need Harvesting Skill Lv. 175 to be able to track them.
The best locations to farm Soulwyrms in New World
These are the clusters we think are best for power-farming Soulwyrms.
Everfall
There's a nice straight line of Soulwyrm nodes in Everfall, stretching from the fast travel point at Bearclaw Shine to Octans in the south, near the Fort.
Edengrove
There are two clusters in northwest Edengrove. The first is around Fungalrust, with the second further north up the path at Protea Lair.
Ebonscale Reach
There's a couple of large clusters of Soulwyrm nodes if you circle the Skysong Lagoon in the north of Ebonscale Reach.
You can even head up into Great Cleave and around to Misty Borough for another small cluster.
Reekwater
Perhaps the best farming spot, you can fast travel into the Siren's Run shrine and then head towards Mistywater Thorp to the west.
There's a nice cluster here, and then if you head directly south to Forecastle Drift, you'll find another large cluster.
