Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have only been around for a few short days, but Pokémon collectors around the world have responded and have already started to complete their Pokédexes. With this ninth generation of pocket monsters, several dozen new critters have been integrated, for a total of more than 400 Pokémon. In this guide we will see everything there is to know about little Pohm, one of the first electric-type Pokémon that you will encounter during your adventure.
Introducing Pawmi and where to find it
Pawmi is one of the new Pokémon of this ninth generation . You will surely encounter it for the first time when you go to the academy during your first steps as a Pokémon trainer in Paldea.
- Paldea's Pokédex Number : 22
- National Pokédex number : 954
- Type : Electric
- Most common talent - Statik : His body is charged with static electricity, in this state he has a chance of paralyzing his attacker.
- Possible Talent - Phobic: Pohm heals his status effects when he leaves a fight.
- Hidden Talent - Iron Fist : The attack of punching abilities is increased.
You will find this Pokemon in South Zone #1, South Zone #3, Grass Biomes, and Rock Biomes
How to evolve Pohm?
Little Pawmi evolves into Pawmo at level 18 , remember to put him in your team so that he can gain experience with the rest of his little comrades. For it to evolve into a Pawmot you will have to take 1000 steps thanks to the "Forward!" feature. This means that you have to put him in 1st position in your team, so that he can walk around by your side when you press ZR. You can press R afterwards to send it to fight Pokemon or pick up items. It's not clear yet but it seems that if your Pohm gets knocked out, it resets the 1000 steps and you have to start over.
Pohm shiny: what does it look like?
It is essential to know what the Shiny forms of the Pokémon look like in these versions since no clues will be left on the screen: no little stars or shrill sound warning you like in Pokémon Legends Arceus. Of course, the color difference will probably jump out at you, but it's sometimes tricky in the case of Pokémon with light (hello Pikachu) or unknown chromatic forms.
- Instead of being orange, the shiny Pohm is pink in color
The chance of finding a shiny is 1/4096 in the game. You can optimize this chance with the Chroma Charm (which is obtained once the entire Pokédex is completed) or the Taste Auras of the dishes you eat.
