Strategy
All players will need Nature resistance gear and Greater Nature Protection Potions for this boss, while melee classes will also need Frost Oil.
Viscidus will mainly deal Nature damage during the fight, through Poison Bolt Volleys every 10 seconds, which can be dispelled, Poison Shock, an AoE that deals around 1,200 damage, and Poison Cloud, which creates an persistent AoE that all players need to escape.
This boss is extremely susceptible to Frost damage, so be use to make good use of your Frost Oil, Frost wands, and all Frost spells. The more Frost damage you deal to Viscidus, the slower his attack speed will become. Once killed, Viscidus will explode, dividing himself into smaller portions and spreading them throughout the room. These pieces will then attempt to join together and fuse in the centre of the room, so you must kill as many of these smaller pieces as possible, which in turn will reduce Viscidus' max HP when he eventually reforms. Repeat this process until the boss is finally defeated.
