One of the most important choices to make when creating your character in Cyberpunk 2077 will be your origin. Your Lifepath will serve as a guideline for defining you personal story, you connections to other characters, and, later, specific quests.
This choice will completely change the first hour or so of play, as each of the 3 Lifepath options available has its own specific intro, which will eventually lead to the general story prologue.
This will also open up additional dialogue options later on during dialogue and quests, to reflect your character being more comfortable in certain social settings. For example, a Nomad will be much better able to convince other Nomads and inhabitants of the Badlands. A StreetKid knows the dealers, fixers, drugs and practices of the lower strata of Night City. For its part, the Corpo will know how to navigate better in the intrigues and manipulations of mega corporations and their agents.
