Fortnite gamer and analyst, DBree made a name for himself in Europe this weekend for developing a simple trick that solves most PC crashes and freezes. Many players have since tried this method, which hasn't been accepted as an official solution by Epic Games, but it works pretty well.
It's a real godsend for PC users, who continue to encounter many technical issues in Fortnite despite patches and fixes. Here's what to try if your game crashes or freezes for an abnormal amount of time:

- Switch Users
- Log-In
The maneuver takes a few seconds and can save your game. Again, this makeshift solution isn't official, and it may not work after the implementation of patch 14.20 or even before if there is an update of any kind.
