Twitch Rivals are back for another year, with their first League of Legends competition of 2020: the League of Legends Team Draft Showdown.
The tournament is divided by region, and while we already knew the big winners on the NA side since last week, the battle between the EU teams just ended yesterday.
Thalrdin, NoWay, ElmiilloR, Sharkz, Sola, LRB, Paolocannone, Overpow — on January 13, these eight captains drafted their teams out of a pool composed of more than 100 players, in order to compete in a Double Round Robin tournament and try to win their share of the $75,000 prize pool.
No LEC players were allowed to play in the tournament, but a lot of former pro players and Academy players that had the opportunity to step their feet on the professional stage were actually drafted.
At the end of the day, NoWay's team wins the tournament and remains almost completely undefeated. After six rounds, his team conceded only one game in the final against Solary.
