On its official Twitter account, Fortnite has changed its banner. Now you can see the 8-Ball vs Scratch skins in the background, with a large golden handprint in the foreground.
At the same time, props has begun to turn into solid gold. The phenomenon seems to be located in the centre of the map, and it's possible that this metamorphosis could spread to other parts of the island.
It' not yet known whether an event will gather all these clues or even what they might refer to. Some analysts have compared the handprint visible on the banner with that of Oro — a datamined skin that should be released soon. The two elements could be undeniably linked and the character of Oro could have an important role in this whole story. Same thing for the 8-Ball vs Scratch skin, since its latest variant is adorned with gold. The character is also the one that appears in the background of Fortnite's new Twitter banner.
Sofas, toilets, televisions... It started in the center of the island, and should expand in the coming hours. Props are turning to solid gold, and this is likely to be the first clue to the central theme of the upcoming season in Fortnite.
