This week should logically be rich in new content in Fortnite. Weapons and utility items should be in the spotlight, based on what dataminers recently picked up in the game files. FireMonkey got his hands on precise data concerning a Rocket Launcher specialized in the destruction of helicopters.
After listening to the audio file, we can image that the Rocket Launcher could aim at a moving target, then release a barrage of guided missiles.
The helicopter release in Fortnite was generally appreciated by the community. Without being over-powerful, the flying machine offers good repositioning possibilities and allows a squad to shoot down enemies. Only one problem: with 1,500 HP the Choppa is difficult to shoot down, especially if it flies at high altitude.
The arrival of an anti-helicopter rocket launcher is rather a great idea. It remains to be seen if the weapon will also be useful against buildings and structures, and if it will be able to seriously injure players.
At the time of writing, Epic Games hasn't yet unveiled any gameplay for this new weapon, nor given a release date.
