Originally scheduled for June 11, Night City Wire is an event planned by Polish studio CD Projekt Red to replace what would have been an E3 showing of the hotly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077.
However, in light of events in the US, this has now been moved to June 25.
No specific time or details have been revealed for the event, but it's likely to go deeper into the gameplay of a title based on the tabletop RPG by Mike Pondsmith.
Despite being revealed way back in 2013, little was known until an explosive E3 reveal last year — featuring one Keanu Reeves. The Matrix and John Wick actor will play Johnny Silverhand, a former soldier turned rebel who is central to the Cyberpunk universe.
Originally planned for April 16, CD Projekt announced in January that Cyberpunk 2077 had been delayed by five months to give the team more time to ensure the game is a 'crowning achievement' for the developer.
This fits with that initial teaser trailer, which simply said 'when it's done' as the release date.
Cyberpunk 2077 comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia on September 17, 2020, with later releases planned for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
