After the announcement of the closure of Mixer, the streaming platform launched by Microsoft, many streamers who had signed exclusive contracts are now free agents. This is the case for Ninja, who recently expressed doubts about his future.

Valorant: Will Ninja switch to Riot's new FPS from Fortnite?

It's one of the most popular streamers in the world. After being the muse of Fortnite for several years with more than 14 million followers, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins announced in 2019 his transfer from Twitch to Mixer, the competing streaming platform.

Only one year later, Mixer has announced its closure while partnering with Facebook Gaming. All streamers who had signed an exclusivity contract are now free to broadcast their live where they want. This is the case of Ninja.

What will the American streamer decide? This question is on everyone's lips. For the time being, no information has been disclosed, only a few guesses about his future.

For example, he recently updated his profile on Twitch, showing "Ninja streams VALORANT and Fortnite". This may simply be a hint of his willingness to return to the platform of his debut or the preparation of a much larger project on Valorant.

Another clue revealed by the consultant Rod "Slasher" Breslau according to which Facebook Gaming would have offered double the original contracts with Mixer for all the big streamers, i.e. Ninja, Shroud and Loaded. They would have refused, forcing Mixer to buy them back.

At this stage, the future of these streamers remains a mystery, but what is certain is that they will emerge as winners from this partnership with the Microsoft platform. Announcements should follow in the coming weeks, but there is a good chance that Ninja will come back on Twitch, and not only in Fortnite.
