The arrival of Aquaman's skin in Fortnite is slowly approaching, challenge after challenge, and Epic Games doesn't want to stop its collaboration with DC. A super-villain skin has been datamined recently, and should be released on Thursday, July 16.
It's Black Manta. This historical enemy of Aquaman would be released the same day as the superhero, but should be fee-based — as opposed to Aquaman who is included in the battle pass.
Yanteh and Hypex were the first to speculate on the release of Black Manta's skin on June 16, via an encrypted file in the shape of the villain.
The hypothesis was subsequently confirmed this weekend, with a massive leak from the shops to come. The character's skin will most likely be accompanied by his harvesting tools, twin blades.
No information appeared on the price of the skin, or on the possible bundle. July 16 is the fifth week of Aquaman challenges, during which the superhero's skin will be available. By then, the water level on the map will probably have greatly decreased, perhaps to the point of discovering the sunken city of Atlantis.
