Ninja peaks at 167k viewers on his 'first' YouTube Fortnite stream

After the closure of Mixer, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins has been pretty silent.

The popular American streamer ran a short YouTube stream that gathered more than 150,000 viewers.

As Slasher pointed  out, no contract appears to have been signed between Ninja and YouTube as yet. He could well remain a streamer on both streaming platforms.

For just over an hour and a half, this Fortnite stream was hailed by many experts as an explosive success. In his best days, Ninja peaked at around 100,000 viewers on Twitch.

Contrary to Mixer, YouTube is far from giving up in the current streaming war. Google's platform has good statistics, highlighted recently with the Device event in Fortnite where six million viewers tuned in on YouTube compared to 2.3 million on Twitch.

Has Ninja signed with YouTube?

After Mixer's closure, Ninja might be in the process of making a deal with YouTube. Details of a scheduled test by the popular streamer on Google's platform were accidentally revealed, and could indicate a significant move.
