Following the reveal of their next console, Sony has now given a first-look at what game packaging will look like.

Sony continues its communication around the release of the PlayStation 5 with a first rendering of PS5 game cases.

White seems to be the dominant color, which may make it unlikely that players will be able to pick up a black version of the console, as has been the custom since the PS2.

No specific release date for the PS5 has been announced, with only a vague "Holiday 2020" offered. The price of the console is also unknown, although speculation is rampant online.
