Fortnite's next map reveal is coming on July 18

As the water keeps going down around the Battle Royale Island, we'll soon be able to discover new terrain and wonders introduced by Epic Games — including, perhaps, the sunken city of Atlantis?

The reefs are giving back their place to the mainland in Fortnite. A week before the presumed arrival of cars, dataminers have revealed when the floods will once again drop down to reveal some new parts of the island.

According to this information, on July 18, 1 a.m. the water should drop a notch again, and discover new portions of land. FireMonkey, already leaked an overview of the future map:

Water will then only be fully omnipresent in the southwest quarter of the archipelago. Several internet users have also noticed a new stretch of road, which was not present in the previous season, and which links Holly Hedges to Misty Meadows. We can safely assume that Epic decided to integrate it into the game in order to encourage the use of cars everywhere on the island — and this as soon as they are released.

Aquaman and Black Manta should logically hit live on July 16, when the challenges of the week are published. As a consequence, we shouldn't wait too long before the Atlantis get revealed...

Aquaman's kingdom has appeared by name in recent datamining. According to some Fortnite experts, it could be a place to appear, once the waters have receded.
