We know that Valorant won't be stuck for long with only 11 playable agents. SuperCakes, Executive Producer, has revealed that there should be 6 new characters per year.
While we are still waiting for news after Reyna's release, some leaks have made interesting revelations about Shatter and Crusader — two new agents that could soon make their appearance in-game.
Shatter should be a malicious agent who will play with copies of himself to drive his opponents crazy. We already knew two of his skills:
- Decoy: creating a copy of himself...
- Clone Explode: a skill that leaves room for interpretation.
With the audio file uncovered and the sound of the explosion, there's little doubt that the clone would play the role of a suicide bomber to explode and inflict damage on enemies. It remains to be seen whether this clone has life, has a limited lifespan and can attack.
Crusader would have served as a prototype for Breach, which is currently playable. That doesn't mean he will never see the light of day, especially since he had significantly different skills that don't exist in the game today.
In the files we found, we learn that he has:
- A shield skill that protects him when it comes time to plant the bomb or defuse it. That shield could get thrown down.
- A grenade launcher skill whose characteristics are unknown for the moment.
