The latest bug discovered in Valorant isn't the first and won't be the last. As the game is dynamic with regular patches that implement new agents, it's not a total surprise either. The latest bug found is quite confusing, as it allows Killjoy to plant invisible turrets that can wallbang freely.
While another player pointed out some inconsistencies in the calculation of the wallbang, it's once again this same mechanism that raises questions. On Split, Killjoy can place turrets "off" the map, in a supposedly unreachable location.
This location is at the mid-B level, at the mailboxes. When one sticks to the corner of the wall and places a turret with the German agent, it goes through the wall and disappears from the map.
Even if it's no longer visible, it can still shoot through the wall as if nothing had happened. An opponent can be totally disoriented, by being shot by an invisible turret. If a turret doesn't inflict much damage, it's still very destabilizing and calls into question the competitive integrity of the map.
If we wait for Riot to fix the problem, there is some good news. The turrets aren't invincible and the wallbang works both ways. Players can fire on the invisible turret to destroy it.
This operation is more delicate than usual, since you have to guess the exact location of the turret with the sound indications and the shooting animations. In any case, you'll probably have to leave a few HPs in the process in addition to giving valuable information about your position.
