More than two and a half years later, the summer conferences still had not satisfied the fans: no announcements, no trailers on this long awaited RPG. However, a few small clues have been slipped here and there: a studio (Avalanche Software) posting intriguing job offers and claiming to work on a Triple A, insiders revealing that the game does exist and that it was supposed to be. revealed at E3 2020

Developed by Avalanche Software (Warner Bros Games) and Portkey Games, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy is directly in line with the official Wizarding World games (then joining mobile games like Harry Potter Wizards Unite and Hogwarts Mystery).
In this game you will be able to discover a new story that takes place at Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Make allies, fight the wizards of darkness and decide the fate of the wizarding world.

Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG, set in the universe first introduced in the Harry Potter books. You can now take control of the action and be the center of your own adventure in the wizarding world. Embark on a journey through familiar and new places, while exploring and discovering fantastic animals, customizing your character and creating potions, mastering spellcasting, upgrading your skills and becoming the wizard you are want to be.
Release date
No precise date has yet been communicated but the game will be released in 2021 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PC, PS4 and Xbox One. This is not a PS5 exclusive.
