At the Sony conference, Fortnite has confirmed its presence on the next-gen console. In a short trailer shot on Unreal Engine 4, the battle royale is revealed as a PlayStation 5 launch title.
The game will undergo some major changes, at least in terms of graphics and sounds. We know that the death, fire and light animations will be upgraded, improving the clarity of the gameplay.
All of these changes are likely to be reflected on all platforms, even if we only have the confirmation for the PlayStation 5 — that will be released on November 19. All players will be able to play free on launch day, and carry their progression and purchases with them.
