A video presenting Watch Dogs Legion post-launch content was released. Lathieeshe Thillainathan, the title's live producer, presents the studio plan beyond October 29, 2020, the release date of Watch Dogs Legion on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Stadia.
The first free update will bring the online mode scheduled for December 3, 2020. This mode will allow up to 4 players to travel around the city and engage in various activities such as taking on challenges in dynamic events, but also missions (2 players minimum) or tactical operations (4 players minimum).
There will also be PvP starting with the Spiderbot Arena, which will see 4 to 8 players competing on different maps in a death match using spider-bots.
The Invasion mechanic will return, allowing the player to invade other players worlds in order to hack them. A 4-person team will be able to play in the same open world.
Other free updates should later add even more to the online mode of Watch Dogs Legion, such as new characters with new skills, new missions for the main campaign, or the arrival of New Game+.
As for the Season Pass, it includes the new narrative arc Bloodline, which features Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs) as well as Wrench (Watch Dogs 2).
In addition to these two stars, there will also be two other playable characters: Mina, who can control spirits, and Darcy, a member of the Assassin's Order.
Finally, three new scenarios with new game modes — but also the return of old modes — and some surprises, such as the DedSec car skin, will be included in the Season Pass.
