It's official, the 3D Audio will work with the PS5 with any of the helmets that we normally use with the PS4, either connecting them through the 3.5mm connector of the DualSense controller, or directly connected to the console through the USB port. So don't throw away your old helmets yet, they might still have a long life ahead of them.
In addition, Sony also propose to democratize their 3D audio system by implementing it the TV integrated speakers. Sony is still working on this feature, which will come to PS5 in the future, but it will not be in time for the launch
