After three weeks with no new content, Fortnite v14.30 is more than welcome. The maintenance deployment time was only revealed late and so it will begin at 1 am (PT) on Monday, October 12. The information comes from the official Fortnite Status Twitter account, which provides real-time information on the status of the servers.
Content updates of this type typically require global maintenance that lasts between one and three hours. During this time, it isn't possible to log in to Fortnite. The length of time it takes to install the patch will depend on the quality of your internet connection and support — as the patch size varies depending on whether you're playing on PS4, PC, Xbox or mobile.
Maybe new powers will join the list of playable items. We can also hope for a development of the season's plot, since at the time of writing, Galactus is lost in the cosmos, without having apparently found his way to Apollo Island.
This year again, Fortnitemares are expected and should take root in the Authority — with perhaps Revenant Midas as a boss to be shot down. Via the deployment of v14.30, we should at least have dataminings on these upcoming festivities.
