PUBG will be playable on next-generation consoles from day 1.
Current-gen console players can move to next-gen at no extra cost. Everything will carry over, including game account progress and cosmetics.
Cross-gen multiplayer and cross-platform play are also supported.
The game will run at 60 FPS on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X via the Framerate Priority option. It will run at 30 FPS on the Series S, but the developers said they are working to raise the framerate.
"After rigorous testing, we’re pleased to say that the game performance is extremely smooth and stable," the console team said, "with faster loading and little to no frame drops thanks to the power of next-gen."
