In Fortnite, weeks that aren't marked by large content patch notes are usually filled with small updates to improve the gaming experience or fix bugs. The consoles are taking the brunt of this, with a maintenance announced by Epic Games today.

According to the publisher, this maintenance "will allow us to fix the issue with Matchmaking portals in Creative on these platforms." PCs and mobiles shouldn't be concerned by this surprise patch.

Fortnite Season 4 is scheduled to end on November 30. The latest version of the game that will be released by then is v14.60, and will logically be scheduled for next week.

This corrective maintenance is probably one of the last before the deployment of Season 5 and the transition event — which Donald Mustard himself described as "the biggest event ever".
