The first leaks on upcoming Season 5 in Fortnite begin to appear. This time, it starts off strong with what at first glance what seems to be the mystery skin of the next battle pass. According to this image — relayed by ShiinaBR — it would be the Mandalorian.
This character from the Star Wars universe has recently become famous thanks to the Disney series The Mandalorian (2019). The plot takes place five years after Return of the Jedi, and tells the adventures of a Mandalorian mercenary beyond the territories controlled by the New Republic.
The leak shows the Star Wars character with famous Baby Yoda at his side, which will (unfortunately) be reduced to the status of a back bling in Fortnite. Around him, two unknown characters appear. They would seem to be original characters drawn by Epic Games.
Season 5 won't only take place around the Star Wars movie universe — as it was the case for the current season and the MCU. The Mandalorian would rather be the ultimate reward for next season's battle pass, but possibly unrelated to the seasonal plot.
Let's remember that in Chapter 2 Season 2, Deadpool had been the mystery skin, without distorting the original character of the season built by Epic Games.
All this is only a collection of hypotheses: it's also possible that the Star Wars theme will be central for the future season!
