Capcom's Monster Hunter Rise is headed to Nintendo Switch in March, but you can try it on your own personal system as early as January.
The news broke during The Game Awards, during which a new look at the game aired as well. It showed off a brief look at some of the characters, environments, and monsters you'll see throughout the game. Then you have the regular routine of heading back to town to mingle with villagers, eating a delicious meal, and recharging until the next hunt.
The game looks like more of the same delicious morsels any Monster Hunter fan would love to eat up, especially since this particular entry introduces a furry sidekick to the game that Palico fans will love: the canine Palamutes that you can choose to come to your aid.
Still, even with a glimpse at all of this new content, it isn't clear what the demo will contain or how long it will be available. If you're thinking Monster Hunter Rise will be up your alley though, you'll want to add January to your calendar. Save up some free space on your Switch, and then pencil in some time for the full release on March 26.
