We all have friends with whom we've played many games in the past, and who we'd like to see in Fortnite again from time to time.
The new Rebook a Friend event is designed to combine business with pleasure. Many rewards are to be earned if you team up again with a friend you've momentarily lost track of.
To register for the program, simply go here. You'll then be able to select a friend to be part of the event. Note that Rebook a Friend will only show you friends that you haven't played with for several weeks or months.
No need to imagine that you'll be able to complete the different stages of the event in duo with your current teammate — the system won't allow you to do so.
All you have to do is play together to win exclusive rewards. Here are the different stages:
- 1 Match: Reboot Emoticon
- 5 Matches: Key Change Lobby Track
- 10 Matches: Twin Talons Pickaxe
- 20 Matches: Holofoil Wrap
This kind of event is also beneficial for Epic Games by encouraging players to return to Fortnite. However, some players have already complained about the system, and the algorithm that only offers to make the link to barely known players, lost in the depths of friendlists.

A new Trio tournament was announced by Epic Games. Fortnite Frosty Frenzy started on December 12 and has now crowned two trio winners for the North America region.
